2011 TALENT QUEST A HUGE SUCCESS

Tuesday 29th November, 2011

The recent Talent Quest held at the Club has been touted as a huge success, providing a springboard for some of the Shire’s young emerging talent and also gave Club patrons some exceptional and outstanding entertainment over the five Saturday nights it was staged.

The event was made possible by the very generous sponsorship of:

and we thank them wholeheartedly for their support.
Congratulations to the $1000 first prize winner Angie Davis, an engaging young lady and pianist who undoubtedly has a great future on the national stage.
Runner-up was Chris Bowerman who wowed the audience with some amazing guitar playing and Josh Veneris (vocals, guitar and harmonica) taking out the special prize awarded by Compere Steve Johnson and DJ Peter Burgess.
